Staring in engine a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit and intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
17048 Possible Causes:
17048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17048 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
