17046 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about water in fuel sensor, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low and wait then radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed is the final reason of the code. |
17046 Possible Causes:
17046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17046 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
