The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake system too lean at higher load, bank 1 or change exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
17044 Possible Causes:
17044 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17044 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
