This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr. or turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
17043 Possible Causes:
17043 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 17043 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), of mechanical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
