Diameter in engine voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground and fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
17042 Possible Causes:
17042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17042 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
