17041 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit range / performance you can see the accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
17041 Possible Causes:
17041 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17041 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
