When you open ignition coil 'g' primary control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector control pressure regulator, circuit low also oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17031 Possible Causes:
17031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 17031 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
