Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent you can see the diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17029 Possible Causes:
17029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 17029 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
