VW Code 17028
17028 Description And Summary : |
---|
Accumulated in electronic control units so o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit and wait then engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
17028 Possible Causes:
17028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17028 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
