Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 or fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
17028 Possible Causes:
17028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17028 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
