The problem is about pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for pump load air cooling (j536), interruption / short-circuit after mass or change data bus powertrain missing message from awd controller is the final reason of the code. |
17023 Possible Causes:
17023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17023 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
