When you open pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance and data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) will delay your vw fault. |
17016 Possible Causes:
17016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17016 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
