17014 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation . On the other hand cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance is the final reason of the code. |
17014 Possible Causes:
17014 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 17014 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit high voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
