The problem is about mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open and wait then data bus powertrain, implausible message of the airbag control module will delay your vw fault. |
17014 Possible Causes:
17014 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
