This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data bus powertrain, missing message from acceleration request . On the other hand coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17012 Possible Causes:
17012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 17012 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
