17010 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low and ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit is the final reason of the code. |
17010 Possible Causes:
17010 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17010 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
