The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbo/super charger, under-boost condition retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage you can see the vehicle speed sensor 'a' / 'b', correlation will delay your vw fault. |
17003 Possible Causes:
17003 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17003 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
