17003 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17003 Possible Causes:
17003 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 17003 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
