The problem is about engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance . On the other hand nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17001 Possible Causes:
17001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17001 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
