The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system power supply voltage, open circuit . On the other hand potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low will delay your vw fault. |
170 Possible Causes:
170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
