170 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance or change exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit is the final reason of the code. |
170 Possible Causes:
170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 170 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
