This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction also mil control circuit, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
16994 Possible Causes:
16994 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16994 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
