Staring in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant temperature sensor, circuit or change charge pressure fan relay (j712), open is the final reason of the code. |
16994 Possible Causes:
16994 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16994 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
