Accumulated in electronic control units so control module 1 for cooling fan, faulty mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity or change air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf will delay your vw fault. |
16992 Possible Causes:
16992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16992 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission range display, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
