Diameter in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit or change ignition switch run/start position, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16991 Possible Causes:
16991 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 16991 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
