Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start torque management feedback signal "b", high and b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16988 Possible Causes:
16988 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 16988 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low
