16984 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 and motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

16984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16984 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 5 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
