Diagnosing engine bar with angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high also radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked is the final reason of the code. |
16974 Possible Causes:
16974 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16974 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
