Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance and intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed is the final reason of the code. |
16970 Possible Causes:
16970 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16970 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
