Diameter in engine throttle actuator control system, stuck open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16968 Possible Causes:
16968 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16968 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
