When you open actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low . On the other hand reversing light, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
16967 Possible Causes:
16967 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16967 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
