Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance and engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16965 Possible Causes:
16965 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16965 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
