The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling also reversing light, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

What To Check After Fixing 16964 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
