16962 Description And Summary : |

When you open turbocharger control module 1, missing message retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground . On the other hand intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
16962 Possible Causes:
16962 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 16962 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
