The problem is about fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high also engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
16959 Possible Causes:
16959 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16959 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
