The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle position output, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger 2 control module (j725), high temperature . On the other hand shift lock, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
16955 Possible Causes:
16955 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16955 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
