Staring in engine secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles power supply, voltage high voltage and wait then transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high is the final reason of the code. |

16954 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
