This code were stamped on VW Engine case 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown and pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16947 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
