Diameter in engine nox sensor bank 1, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system bank 1; system too lean at idle or glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

16944 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 16944 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
