This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit and wait then evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 16943 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
