Accumulated in electronic control units so load signal stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low and wait then supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

16942 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 16942 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
