16939 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground and wait then ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16939 Possible Causes:
16939 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16939 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too lean at higher load, bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
