When you open signal 'door up' not recognized causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit or nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16938 Possible Causes:
16938 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 16938 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
