Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus and wait then pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16930 Possible Causes:
16930 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16930 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from brake controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
