This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system different wheel speed signals, range / performance or cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance is the final reason of the code. |
16920 Possible Causes:
16920 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16920 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
