The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low or coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16918 Possible Causes:
16918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 16918 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant pump control, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
