The problem is about signal for back-up lights, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation and engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
16915 Possible Causes:
16915 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16915 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
