Staring in engine exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit you can see the crash shut-down activated is the final reason of the code. |
16908 Possible Causes:
16908 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16908 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
