This something to do with the intake camshaft timing wheel speed signal 1, range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit also fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16905 Possible Causes:
16905 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16905 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
