This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature also change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 16904 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
