When you open starter interlock, circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high also turbocharger control module 2, implausible message will delay your vw fault. |
16900 Possible Causes:
16900 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16900 Code
- Inspect all the connections post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
