The problem is about ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high or change transmission range display, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
16900 Possible Causes:
16900 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 16900 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
