The problem is about ignition switch run position, circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent and wait then oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault.

16897 Possible Causes:
