Staring in engine evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16896 Possible Causes:
16896 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 16896 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
