This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed or clutch torque adaptation 2: adaptation limit reached is the final reason of the code. |

16890 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
