16886 Possible Causes:
16886 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16886 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
